Mother’s Instinct is a collaborative project between digital artist Lolita and one of our favourite Spanish artists Virgen Maria, shared exclusively with GATA magazine.
It consists of a series of images that explore the convergence of spirituality, technology and artificial intelligence. Through the use of digital 3D techniques, timeless concepts such as bonding and empathy are redefined in a modern context.
The connection between mother and child, and the powerful force of birth, whether it is in life or artistic creation, is honoured in the series, creating a timeless love story for a modern audience.
“The photo is digital; everything is 3D and Photoshop. My work lately revolves around intuition, instinct, artificial intelligence, spirituality, bonding, empathy and attraction. For me, in Mari (Virgin Maria), all these things coexist in a very harmonious way (even a bit of AI freak), it seems to be a very powerful creative force, and for me, it is like a mother who is constantly giving birth. The photos plus other works will be exhibited in my first solo exhibition in Madrid in April.”
