SLEEPWALKERS - A GATA x ARNODEFRANCE EDITORIAL
Arnodefrance is a luxury streetwear brand founded in 2016 by French creative director Arno de France. Known for its military-inspired motifs, oversized silhouettes and distinctive diagonal-cut structured jackets, the brand has cultivated a loyal following in the streetwear sphere.
Their latest collection Dust, Dirt, and Mud explores the world of underground culture, homing in on the anti-social individuals that you would find sheltering at a rave. It celebrates the shared sanctuary experienced by them, and the bond that can occur on the outskirts of traditional mainstream culture; separate entities momentarily one, in the search for authenticity.
GATA recently teamed up with the brand to bring this latest collection to life. Inspired by the “Juggalo” makeup style of the Insane Clown Posse, as well as the iconic cinematic experience of Walter Hill’s The Warriors, the editorial tells a tale of outlaws, misfits and rebellious youth swallowed whole by the wasteland we call the inner city.
