FLOP ERA - A GATA Editorial
GATA presents a new fashion editorial from the creative direction of Adrián Sánchez. With this project, the team played with the archetype of the “bitchy girl”, recreating a classic character in media with a more layered and satirical edge. The series explores the idea that under every mean girl’s bitchy facade is a troubled and insecure person, protecting themselves from both the world and themselves.
Donned in glittering flashy Prada and Balenciaga, she seems to be under the impression that wearing such lucrative and designer labels will make every one fall under her spell, but in reality, she’s just a sad diva whose only source of joy comes from the jealousy that people feel towards her. Like a social vampire, she needs negativity to survive. What a life.
Featuring fashion from Balenciaga, Camper, Keperzaxio and Diefstudio, the editorial is a window into that moody bitch that you know you should avoid but you just can’t keep your eyes off.
