A FAMILIAR DISGUISE
Set within a wig store, a figure moves through rows of ready-made identities. Partially covered by its own hair, it occupies this space between visibility and obscurity — present, yet never fully seen.
At first glance, the store appears to offer a space of belonging, one in which the creature almost blends in. Yet the resemblance is only superficial. Its hair may resemble a wig, but unlike those surrounding it, it cannot be put on or taken off. Growing across the face as an inseparable part of the body, it is not a chosen appearance but a condition of being.
This GATA photo editorial lingers in that tension without resolving it, positioning the creature between familiarity and difference, where resemblance does not necessarily guarantee belonging.
